Te Maharatanga o Ngā Wai – Wai o Horotiu is an installation at Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero/Central Library prompting us all to remember our natural waterways - namely Te Waihorotiu, the ‘Queen Street River’.

Working with graphics created by Etienne Neho and Graham Tipene of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, we worked to design and install this three story artwork as part of Auckland’s City of Colour Festival.

Printed on a clear film, the beacon is changing from every angle while at night the installation mirrors the flow of water with textured lighting from Angus Muir Design.
